This week Gavin earned his Bobcat badge. It took us all of about 10 minutes to do what we needed to get the badge, but since it was the first badge that he's ever earned, he was very excited. The Bobcat is basically the badge for the kids with slacker parents that didn't have them start when they were 8 years old. They have to get the Bobcat before they can get the Bear badge. Are you paying attention? There will be a quiz later!

I don't ever help Jayce with his scouting. His leaders do it all practially. He's in the Bears now too and he has a lot of fun. The worst is sewing those stinking patches on his shirt. I totally recyled my little brother's old shirt!! LOL!! Pinewood Derby was a interesting. Some of those Dad's get way to into it.
