This last Saturday I had the opportunity to go to a Japanese Tea Ceremony. I never knew there even was such a thing, or how much goes into the planning of one. Every detail from the flower arrangments to the way the host is supposed to enter the room is thought out very carefully. I can't say I'm a big fan of tea, or sitting on the floor (especially being so preggo), but I enjoyed participating in an authentic cultural tradition.
