More Summer Fun

The summer is flying by at an alarming rate, but thankfully we have manged to fit in an insane amount of stuff in what feels like a short time.  We've been to Lagoon a bunch of times and have gotten a lot of use out of our passes.  We've been to family parties, had sleepovers, been on camp-outs, and had fun with friends.
At the beginning of August, Kaylee and I had a girls weekend with some of my friends and their daughters in Midway.  We got there on a Friday evening and started the weekend off with a ride on the carousel and a swim.  On Saturday the girls got all dolled up with curly hair, makeup, and freshly painted fingernails and toe nails and we took them into town to strut their stuff and sight see.  We stopped and had a great lunch at a little outdoor cafe and headed back to the condo for more swimming.  The best part for me was when all the mom's were able to sit by the pool and start reading our next book club book called The Winemakers Dinner.  That night we made friendship bracelets and decorated hats made banana splits.  The weekend was filled with good food, giggles, friends, late nights, and good times.

We also had a fun vacation in July with my friends and their families.  We stayed at this cute KOA spot in Vernal, saw a dinosaur museum, played in the river, swam in the pool, had a scavenger hunt, ate at a buffet (Gavin's favorite part), and then headed to Flaming Gorge on the way home.
