This last weekend was a busy one. We had two birthday parties for Gavin and Kaylee. The Bowman family came over on Saturday, and the Simmons family came over on Sunday. As you might have guessed from the cute background, the theme this year was puppies. I'm kind of running out of party themes that aren't gender specific, and at some point I'm going to have to get a little more creative.
The advantage to having the parties a day apart is that I could keep all the same decorations up from one day to the next. The disadvantage was that I was pretty pooped by the end of the second one, and I'm pretty sure my kids are still coming down from the sugar high they got from having cake and ice cream twice in a row.
